Coral Hoops - One of One
Years ago, I came across the most beautiful antique coral necklace, worn by a woman in the 1920s.One hundred years later, this coral has a new lease of life, reworked so that it can be worn by many people over. All jewellery tells a story, and this story is extra special.
Each piece is a one-off, completely unique and - as always - handcrafted, by me, using traditional silversmithing techniques.
Hand-forged from remnant recycled sterling silver, I manipulated the molten silver, and adorned each hoop with granulations, their organic texture mimicking the coral reefs from which the collection was born.
